Even Alex Chandra Leads Discussion in FGD on the Future of E-Commerce Industry

Jakarta, March 13, 2025 - Even Alex Chandra, Partner at IGNOS Law Alliance, was appointed as the moderator of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled “Examining the Future of the E-Commerce Industry: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities” organized by the Indonesia E-Commerce Association (idEA) in Jakarta. The event featured a number of key speakers from various sectors, including representatives from the government, academia, and industry players to discuss the dynamics and challenges in the e-commerce industry in Indonesia.

In this FGD, Alex led a discussion on various crucial issues related to the future of the e-commerce industry, including strategies to improve competitiveness, operational efficiency, and efforts to create a more adaptive and sustainable digital ecosystem. The discussion also reviewed government policies in encouraging a healthy and innovative e-commerce ecosystem, including regulatory challenges faced by stakeholders.

Alex emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, industry players, and associations to build a highly competitive digital ecosystem. “The e-commerce industry has a strategic role in the growth of the digital economy in Indonesia.
