Introduction
The provision regarding SBKBG is regulated under the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing No. 12 of 2024 on Building Ownership Certificate.
This regulation provides certainty regarding two aspects. First, certainty for building owners, as the SBKBG is intended for building owners. Second, certainty for building unit owners. SBKBG SUBG is intended for building unit owners that are not allocated as residences, where the owenership rights cannot be granted with a certificate of ownership of condominium unit or a certificate of ownership of building unit.
The Issuance of SBKBG and SBKBG SUBG
The application for the issuance of SBKBG or SBKBG SUBG must be submitted through the SIMBG.
The SBKBG can only be issued for buildings that already have a certificate of feasible function. Meanwhile, the SBKBG SUBG can only be issued for buildings that already have SBKBG and a deed of separation.
