Jakarta, November 30, 2025 — Even Alex Chandra, Partner at IGNOS Law Alliance and Head of Reg & LogisTech at the Indonesian Venture Capital Association for Startups (AMVESINDO), was a panel speaker at the Pre-Plenary Panel Discussion of the National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) entitled "Synergy between Startups, AI Policy, and IP Tokenization in Building a Competitive Creative Economy Ecosystem." The event, held at the Residence Room, Park Hyatt Jakarta, brought together senior policymakers, industry leaders, and ecosystem institutions to discuss changes in the regulatory and economic landscape shaping Indonesia's creative and digital sectors.

Alex explained the readjustment in the venture capital investment model. The old pattern, which relied on aggressive growth, is shifting towards a stricter emphasis on business fundamentals. According to him, this shift is an important part of strengthening Indonesia's long-term digital competitiveness. He also highlighted the ongoing structural imbalance: many creative economy players and IP-based companies still rely on project-based funding, while institutional investors want a completely different structure, namely equity investment opportunities in creative companies that have stable valuations, defensible business models, and the capacity to absorb institutional financing in the long term. Bridging this gap, he said, requires an ecosystem mechanism capable of transforming IP into an asset class that can be assessed and invested in a measurable manner, while also building effective connectivity between investors and creative economy players.

The session also featured contributions from Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Muhammad Neil El Himam, Acting Director of Digital Ecosystem Development at KOMDIGI Sonny Hendra Sudaryana, and Deputy Head of the Digital Ecosystem Agency at KADIN M. Fajrin Rasyid. Through Alex's participation, IGNOS Law Alliance reaffirmed its role in supporting Indonesia's creative and digital industries, providing legal and regulatory guidance for businesses and policymakers in navigating the intersection of AI governance, IP commercialization, and innovation strategies.
